Oil on Board. 45x34cm. SOLD. I`ve painted this view a couple of times now. For me it is a joyous summer painting, contrasting with some of my more sombre, winter landscapes.The combination of the water and the stones in the foreground make this a particularly enjoyable painting to work on. "It looks like a photograph" many people say. To an extent yes but closer inspection reveals that the substance of the paint and the brush strokes are clearly visible.
