"A Cottage in Glamis Village, Winter"

My studio is situated in Glamis Gallery, in the historic and picturesque village of Glamis. A fall of snow is not all that common in this sheltered region of Eastern Scotland but when it does occur there is very often a painting to be had - most of my Glamis paintings feature snow.
This small painting is one of my first in 2024. I was particularly attracted by the disposition of the shadows cast by the low winter sun.
