I`ve been "sitting" on this image for a few years now but at last here it is as a finished painting. Perhaps not as elegantly composed as it`s sister painting, "Winter, A track near Careston", it is nonetheless a picture full of light and atmosphere and highly evocative of a Winter`s morning.
This is one of the larger works I will have on display as part of my Angus Open Studios exhibition here in Kirriemuir 26-30 May.
